Stationary trade at Manor Switzerland is under increasing pressure from the strong Swiss franc and online trading. Therefore, the stationary trade must come with a new and convincing answer on the changing market. In addition to the price, it is crucial to customers to test the device, handling, weight and volume of the product itself which distincts offline from online retail. Therefore, Philips has decided to organize a perfect brand identity for all brands at Manor.
In just twelve weeks, a Category Management project incl. rollout concept (production and installation) was implemented by JosDeVries Studio MÜ. In addition to the short-term development and delivery time, the big challenge was the installation time of only two hours per store. The products are based on the Good - Better - Best structure. The starter products are lying down and the premium products are presented standing. The displays and device holders can be replaced by the staff within minutes. For this purpose, modular holders for the devices and light boxes were developed to make the replacement easy.
In five weeks, Manor's 21 stores were rebuilt by two teams from Philips and JosDeVries throughout Switzerland. For the installation per store, the team needed only two hours of setup time. The new presentation from Philips is received very well at Manor which has been confirmed by the sales figures.
