Within a successful branding process, a clear basic idea and the uniqueness of the productsoffered are not enough. The result should also be attractive in its elaboration. The quality of thetranslation of the basic principles, the strategy and the positioning, into the store image is thereforean extremely important success factor. In order to carry out this process in the best and mostcomplete way possible, we have developed a practical toolbox. This toolbox contains all the tools to create a complete and distinctive shop layout. Using thistoolbox, you will avoid making random decisions about the store’s image. They will always berooted in the basic principles of the formula.
The various parts included in the toolbox are:
> Store layout
> Store design
> Instore communication
> Visual merchandising concept
> Shop front design
> Technical Innovation
In the workshop, you will learn the practical basics of the toolbox and The 10 golden rules inorder to create a successful store formula and a strong format proposition, thanks to our 3 stepDevelopment Programme.
1. Discovery
To develop a strong new retail concept, a sound future strategy is fundamental. Starting point for the programme is our ‘Future Scenario’s’ model to envision the most important driving forces for customer behaviour the coming years. Only by being fully aware of current and future customer needs and wishes can retailers create the right format values and benefits to attract your customers on the long term.
2. Master vision
With our model ‘The Proposition Mirror’ we funnel all insights, based on the discovery phase, to a format strategy and proposition. Each top layer in the model sets the direction for the lower layers in the model. This part of the workshop sets the foundation for all further format development. It gives input for all the guidelines in the retail development process. So to speak, the proposition is the DNA of the format.
3. Design
Based on our ‘Retail Experience Framework’ we explore the opportunities in the Design process to create the right shoppers journey to bring a leadership proposition to life.
